Perinatal Massage – Perinatal massage is safe from conception through postpartum.  Positioning and depth of pressure are the most important factors during this type of massage.  A body pillow (full body length pillow) plus smaller pillows are used for cushioning and extra comfort.  Perinatal massage is an excellent complement to a pilates session.

Deep Tissue MassageTargets the deepest layers of muscle and connective tissue through stretching and friction across muscle fibers.  Multiple techniques including trigger point and myofascial release techniques are employed.  Elbows, forearms, and thumbs are used to reach the deeper muscles.

Swedish Massage – Slower, longer and lighter strokes are used during Swedish massage to increase circulation and induce deep relaxation.  Gliding, kneading, friction, vibration, and percussion techniques are used to warm and relax sore muscles.  The goal of Swedish massage is relaxation.

Thai Massagein studio ONLY - Thai Massage is an ancient form of bodywork, developed in Thailand 2,500 years ago.  Thai massage is similar to assisted yoga, as the client is fully clothed, laying on a mat on the floor, and the practitioner stretches the client using their arms, legs, feet, and hands.
